Number 10 - Boating and Fishing in the Sea!!

This gets the tenth position because while it had the potential of being an amazing adventure, weather put a real damper (if you get my drift) on it. We took a wildlife viewing of Resurrection Bay and went eight miles out into the sea. We did see seals, lots of bald eagles, puffins and sea otters but no whales. I do look forward to returning and taking the Kenai Fjords tour.



While the weather made our cruise less than it could have been, it really made the halibut fishing trip "memorable" for the guys. In Phil's words, "I've never paid so much money to be that tortured in all my life!" Next time I'll just send my boys out to get my halibut. Like Phil said, "Pat could have fun on the Titanic if he had a fishing pole!" This picture was taken just moments before he "fed the fish!"
